HELL AIN'T VERY COOL

Copyright 1991 by Dan and Brigitte Laskowski

There once was a rich man,
Who ,in luxury, all day,,ate.
While a hungry man named Lazarus,
Begged outside of his gate.
Later, the beggar died,
And was carried to Abrahams side.
The rich man also died and
The flames of Hell tortured his hide.

HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.

The rich man knew, that he'd been a fool.
So he asked Abraham to send water to cool.
Abraham replied "Between you and I,
The distance is great and wide."
"I can't go to you and you can't come to me."
"It's just plainly an impossibility."

HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.
HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.

The rich man pondered his fate.
He begged Abraham "Before it's too late,"
"Warn my brothers of this place of Hell."
"I beg you, please , send someone to tell."
"Someone from the dead?", Abraham said
"They won't repent,if Jesus rises from the dead."

HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.
HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.
IT'S NO SWIMMING POOL,
SO DON'T BE A FOOL.
HELL AIN'T VERY COOL.
